Your journey begins with a comfortable transfer to ElephantsWorld, a sanctuary dedicated to caring for old, injured, and rescued elephants. Unlike traditional camps, there is no elephant riding here. The focus is on ethical and sustainable care, allowing elephants to live peacefully in a natural environment.
During your visit, you will:
- Prepare and feed the elephants
- Gather food for them
- Bathe the elephants in the river
Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the sanctuary before continuing your trip to explore Kanchanaburi’s historical landmarks.
Visit the iconic Bridge on the River Kwai, part of the infamous Death Railway built by prisoners of war during World War II. Then, pay your respects at the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, the resting place of 6,982 Allied prisoners who lost their lives during the railway’s construction.
